Enrollment Information
How do you join 4-H? Contact the Lebanon County Cooperative Extension office by calling (717) 270-4391 or e-mail us at lebanonext@psu.edu. An extension agent working with the youth program will be able to guide you to 4-H opportunities in your area.
How old do girls and boys have to be to join 4-H? 4-H programs are open to all youth 8 to 18
years of age as of January 1st of the current year. How much does it cost to join 4-H ? Joining 4-H is FREE! Individual clubs may charge dues or hold fundraisers to cover expenses. Some project areas may require a small investment for supplies, equipment and insurance.
4-H programs are open to all youth, no matter where they live. Activities appropriate for urban groups include plants, drama, food and nutrition, photography, woodworking, leadership and more!
4-H has a volunteer screening process to help ensure the safety of participants in our youth programs. All volunteers are screened to make sure their past experiences would not prevent them from working well with children. |
